Official compliance document pursuant to Google Play Developer Account Deletion Policy.
Your Right to Erasure
We respect your right to be forgotten. If you choose to close your Soul Court account, we permanently erase your personal identity, confessions, past case dossiers, and courtroom records from our active production databases.
Method 1: Direct In-App Account Deletion (Instant)
Seekers can initiate instantaneous account deletion directly within the Soul Court Android application:
Step-by-Step In-App Deletion:
- Open the Soul Court app on your Android device.
- Tap the Profile / Registry icon in the navigation bar.
- Scroll down to the Security & Account Settings section.
- Tap Delete Account & Wipe Data.
- A confirmation dialogue will display the consequences of permanent deletion. Confirm your decision.
Upon confirmation, your Supabase session is revoked immediately, your authentication record is marked deleted, and your stored case history is queued for hard deletion.
Method 2: Web & Email Deletion Request (Without App Access)
If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your Android device, you can submit a manual deletion request via email. We will process your deletion within 30 business days(typically within 48 hours).
How to Send a Deletion Request:
Send an email from the email address registered with your Soul Court account to:
Subject Line: Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email]
Body: Please permanently delete my Soul Court account and all associated personal data and case archives.
3. Categories of Data Deleted vs. Retained
Data Permanently Erased
- User account profile & unique Court ID
- Registered email address & authentication credentials
- All submitted intake dossiers & conflict narratives
- All courtroom deliberation transcripts & dialogues
- All saved verdicts and Ledger case archives
- Push notification tokens & device links
Data Retained for Legal Compliance
- Transaction Logs: Google Play transaction records (Order IDs and timestamps) must be retained for statutory tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations as mandated by commercial law. These contain zero personal narrative text.
- System Audit Trails: Anonymous security logs stripped of identifying metadata.
4. Important Note Regarding Active Subscriptions
Deleting your Soul Court account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Before or after deleting your Soul Court account, please visit the Google Play Store Subscriptions menu to cancel any recurring charges, as Google controls store billing independent of account status.
